How young is too young to startup? For 15-year old Shravan Kumaran and his 13-year old brother Sanjay Kumaran, the question is irrelevant as they have been running a company since 2012.

While it's basically consensus that most millennials are wasting time and money on avocado brunches, younger generations are actually building technological legacies. 30 Under 30 Asia list honorees and brothers Shravan and Sanjay Kumaran, 17 and 16 respectively, are famous in their home country of India for being the country's youngest app developers.
Their company GoDimensions has already developed 12 apps, offering solutions to some of India's most challenging social problems.
"We've always believed that we must do something for society," says Sanjay, on the thinking behind their latest app GoDonate, which facilitates the donation of food to local charities that would otherwise go to waste.
"In Central Asia itself, about 500 millions tons of food is being wasted each year," says Shravan. By the boys' own admission, social impact is a key deciding factor behind their projects.
2. Tanmay Bakshi :
He is also the world's youngest IBM Watson programmer who in his free time writes computer programs. Bakshi has written a book and is writing his second one on IBM Watson.
While children at the age of 13 are busy playing games with friends and still have some years to think the profession they want to choose, Tanmay Bakshi, an Indian-origin boy from Brampton in Canada, is already a software content developer who also designs algorithms.
He is the world’s youngest IBM Watson programmer who writes computer programs in his free time . Bakshi has written a book and is writing his second one on IBM Watson. Currently, he is home schooled and will be going to grade 9.
His entry into coding
When he was just 5 years old, he started coding. At the age of 9, he developed his first app for iPhone called tTables. The app, which faced some initial rejections, was later published on 14th February 2013.
“At 5 years old I didn’t understand the concept of a job. The computer I thought was just a toy. Coding was fun for me and something I did in break time. So, coding isn’t really work for me,” he said.
His Future Plans:
About his future plans, Tanmay says he wants to gain more experience and knowledge right now, for which he is attending more conferences and doing more projects. He is also focusing on making more videos and writing books. He also wishes his current book to be signed by Amitabh Bachchan.
He likes to play table tennis in his free time and has one in his house. Other than that, he goes on a field trips or hangout with friends around his home.
